Specific Usage Rules
The "Few" vs. "Little" Logic
For Countable Nouns (Few):
- Few: Not many (Negative sense; equivalent to none).
- A Few: Some (Positive sense; at least a small number).
- The Few: Not many, but all that are available.
For Uncountable Nouns (Little):
- Little: Not much (Negative sense; equivalent to none).
- A Little: Some (Positive sense; at least a small amount).
- The Little: Not much, but all that is available.
Distributive Determiners
- Each: Refers to every individual member of a small group separately.
- Every: Refers to all members of a large group collectively.
- Either / Neither: Used when choosing between exactly two options.
